Bookings: Terms and Conditions for The Granary Shropshire

These conditions govern and will be incorporated into every Contract for the hire of the holiday property owned by Steve and Chris Williams.

The hiring contract is between the owners and the hirers.

The owners reserve the right to adjust the price quoted on our website due to error, omissions or changes.

1. A deposit of £100 becomes payable at the time of booking, with full payment due 28 days before the date of arrival.

Once a booking has been confirmed in writing the deposit is non-refundable. When you receive your confirmation the details must be checked carefully. If anything is incorrect, you should notify us immediately.

2. Our prices do not include any form of insurance so we recommend that you arrange your own insurance to cover eventualities such as cancellation, injury or loss of personal items. This will provide piece of mind if an unforeseen event forces cancellation. The hirer agrees that, in the event of Cancellation, while all reasonable efforts will be made by the owners to re-let, the hirer will be responsible for paying for the period of holiday booked, if a substitute cannot be found.

3. Reservations commence 4.00pm on the day of arrival, terminating 10.00 on the final day.

4. No person in excess of the number agreed at the time of reservation may occupy the property.

5. The contract allows the hirer to occupy the accommodation for a holiday only and the hirer undertakes to vacate the premises at the expiration of the holiday, to meet the owner’s obligations under other Agreements made or to be made for seasonal holiday lettings.

6. The hirer undertakes to take all reasonable care in the use of the property and its contents, including the security of the property.

7. The hirer will report any damages, losses or breakages.

8. The hirer agrees to pay for any losses or damages to the property or equipment beyond reasonable wear and tear. (We know occasionally accidents do happen!)

9. The hirer will notify the owners of any repairs which are necessary and allow owners access to carry out repairs.

10. The Granary is cleaned thoroughly by a dedicated team between each let, however, as only limited time is available we ask the hirer to take reasonable care of the property and ensure that the property and all the equipment is left clean, tidy and in good order. The hirer to ensure that the standard of cleanliness of The Granary is as high on their departure as on their arrival. A charge of £25 will be levied if this condition is not observed.

11. If for any reason beyond the owners control the property is not available on the date booked (owing, for example, to fire damage) or the property becomes unsuitable for holiday letting, all rent and charges paid in advance by the hirer will be refunded.

12. The hirers' party will conduct themselves in such a fashion as to cause no undue noise or annoyance or disturbance to the neighbouring property.

13. Parents to be responsible for their children's behaviour and safety around The Granary and farm yard.

14. We reserve the right to terminate the visit of any person whose conduct is detrimental to the comfort of others, without recompense.

15. The Granary is NON smoking.

16. Be aware that in rural locations people have to earn a living and often keep long hours and also accept the smells and noises associated with the countryside and farm life

Complaints

It is important to Steve and Chris Williams, at The Granary, Shropshire, that you enjoy your stay and every effort has been made to ensure this. However, in the unlikely event of dissatisfaction with the property or any subsequent problem, you should immediately contact us so that the opportunity to rectify the problem is given.
